We thrive from the traditional or rather I say conventional background of a relational data warehouse or ETL world. Yes, you heard it right !!!

My name is Nitin and I started my career as the data warehouse enthusiastic with a couple of RDBMS and ETL tools in my arsenal. Things were going well before I got carried away by the waves of Big data and its ability to handle data which is still kind of  nightmare for relational DB professionals. This ability intrigued me to know more about the different Big Data technologies and how well it can cover the gaps left by RDBMS. Though I never fully agreed with the ideology of Big Data killing RDBMS, but for sure it’s the big thing and together with RDMBS it can play with data and provide mind blowing results.

This blog is an attempt to build the bridge between traditional RDBMS and Big data technologies.
